On March 25th at approximately 6:46pm , Officers responded to Burger King in reference to an armed robbery that had just taken place.Upon Officers arrival , it was determined by video evidence that a black male subject entered the drive-thru window with two handguns and took an undetermined amount of cash. He then left in a tan colored Buick Lucerne with a paper dealer tag traveling West on Highway 80. At Approximately 7:30pm, the Jimmy Johns in Meridian,Mississippi reported a Robbery attempt with matching suspect and vehicle descriptions. Later that night around 9:30pm, a McDonald's in Brandon, Mississippi also reported a robbery with similarities to the other two robberies. The two suspects were apprehended after a police pursuit in Warren County and are currently being held in the Warren County Jail in Mississippi. It is also believed that the two suspects are involved in approximately five other restaurant robberies and two possible homicides in North Alabama and Georgia. The Federal Authorities have been notified to assist in the investigation of these cases. The two suspects have been identified as Jaylen Benton,18, of Ellerslie, Georgia and Sharae Threadgill, 21, of Stone Mountain, Georgia.
