On 02/03/2017, the Demopolis Police Department Criminal Investigations Division arrested Russell Scott Pope, W/M, age 29 of Gallion, Al., on a Federal Arrest Warrant issued by the United States District Court of the Southern District of Alabama.
The warrant was issued for Possession of a Firearm by a Prohibited Person (Felon) .Pope was located hiding in an apartment within the City of Demopolis. He was transported to the Marengo County Detention Center to be held for the U.S. Marshals.
