On 12/06/2016, the Demopolis Police Department arrested Tony Douglas Gildersleeve, Jr., B/M, age 25, of Dixons Mills, Alabama for Possession of a Controlled Susbtance and Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.   This arrest came after Officer attempted to make a traffic stop on a vehicle for speeding that Gildersleeve was in.  When Officers got the vehicle pulled over, the passenger exited the vehicle ran into a room at the Creekridge Motel , but was later detained.  Officer obtained consent to search the room where Gildersleeve had hid his jacket and found drugs in the jacket. 

He was processed and transported to the Marengo County Detention Center to await a bond hearing.
