On June 23, 2016, the Demopolis Police Department arrested two individuals for drugs following a traffic stop.  During the traffic stop our K-9 Police Dog was used to search the vehicle, after Officers suspected there were drugs present.  Officers loctaed in the vehicle a clear bag containing what is believed to be crystal meth and other drug parahernalia. 

Arrested:

1.   Regina Delouise Baker Hawkins, W/F, age 51 of Demopolis, Al

2.   Michelle Lee Lalone, W/F, age 39 of Demopolis, Al

They were both charged with the following: (1) Count of Possession of Methamphetamine and (1) Count of Possession of Drug Paraphernalia.

After being processed at DPD they were transported to the Marengo Detention Center in Linden, Al., to await a Bond Hearing.
