SSGT Vanguard Strategic Striking Course

SSGT Vanguard Strategic Striking Course conducted by the Demopolis Police Department- This 8 hour course will teach each officer’s about the objectively reasonable use of force, the effects and mitigation of survival stress and the principles of defensive tactics.  This course also teach officers to defend themselves against common grabs, holds, strikes and attacks on the officer’s weapon in standing situations. Students will learn aspects of escorting and striking subjects to gain compliance should the need arise.  SSGT Strategic Striking will instill confidence in an officer’s ability to handling himself in a combative situation.

Certified APOSTC police officers are able to attend this training.  Upon completion of this course officers will receive 8 accredited (CEU) hours and the class is $25.
